TOWN OF WINFIELD LEGAL NOTICE
Winfield Town Board
Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held Tuesday, August 11. 2026, at 7:00 PM at the
Stephen W. Rooney building at 306 Stone Road, West Winfield, NY 13491. The purpose of the public
hearing is to have comment on proposed Local Law No. 2 of 2026: A local law to impose a twelve-month
moratorium on Data Storage Facilities or Data Centers. A copy of proposed law is available in the office
of the Town Clerk and on the Town of Winfield’s website: https://townofwinfieldny.gov.
Participants who wish to offer comments at the public hearing may do so by appearing in person or by
submitting written comments to the Town Clerk at terriatwell@townofwinfieldny.gov or by mail to the
Town Clerk at 306 Stone Road, West Winfield, NY 13491 any time prior to the beginning of the hearing.
Note: mailed comments not received before August 11, 2026, will not be considered.
